Your Child’s First Visit

As assessed by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, we recommend that a child’s first visit be by his/her first birthday. It is at this time that it is important to instill in the child a welcoming and comforting perception of the office. We’d like for your child to enjoy getting to know the doctor and staff in order to become comfortable with the idea of the dentist! A productive, pleasant first visit will help to ensure trust and future ease in coming for appointments. The doctors and staff will be more than happy to explain to the child any questions, anxieties or fears that they may have. We want our office to be a fun environment!

We will record the child’s dental and medical history, complete a comprehensive examination and discuss any findings with you. We will also review the importance of maintaining a good dental health program with you and your child to ensure that we get started on the right track to maintaining a healthy and beautiful smile for life!
